2/90 Frame Modular Sign System is a picture-perfect solution for the new VA Design Manual’s “flex-fit” component-based sign system. 2/90 Frame accommodates front-loading inserts that fit securely in a precision-built frame assembly with hidden spring clips. Each component within the frame system can be replaced, reconfigured, or updated so the sign can evolve with facility changes.

Charlie Tyke is a name that resonates with great design. With a career spanning over 70 years, Tyke has left an indelible mark on the design world, touching multiple industries, and revolutionizing how we live, work, and play. From his early days designing the first garage door opener with an integral light fixture to revolutionizing the rotational mold industry to accommodate other products to his innovative approach to office signage, Tyke’s legacy is one of creativity, ingenuity, and lasting impact.
In 2017, 2/90 Sign Systems developed SafeCare, with the guidance of The New York State Office of Mental Health, a groundbreaking signage system specifically designed for behavioral health environments. SafeCare signs are made of durable polycarbonate material that prevents breakage and can’t be used as weapons. The signs feature soft round corners and beveled sides, eliminating sharp edges that could harm patients. Tamper-resistant fasteners and adhesive secure the signs to the wall, preventing tampering.
Caro Psychiatric Hospital in Caro, Michigan, faced the challenge of implementing a wayfinding solution that would ensure patient safety while effectively guiding patients, staff, and visitors through their new 100-bed facility with four wings. They needed a signage system that could adapt to their unique behavioral health environment and provide clear differentiation between various areas.
