OUR ROOTS date back to when architectural signage systems were vastly uncharted territory and 2/90 began its 30 year run as Open Plan Accessories (OPA). There was a need within the contract furniture industry to fill the void for identification and directional signs in offices with open-plan furniture.
OH! HOW WE’VE GROWN IN 30 YEARS. Today, 2/90 provides turn-key service that includes sign design, wayfinding, manufacturing of both interior and exterior signs and sign systems, project management, installation and post-installation maintenance. We’re very proud to be the partner-of-choice to many prestigious corporate, health care, educational, hospitality and government clients.
OUR FACILITY houses 80,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space in Grand Rapids, Michigan which is where all the action takes place. Signs are built-to-order from this one location, which allows for cost efficiencies, operational consistencies, and up-close and-personal quality control; all of which translates into providing clients with value.
OUR PEOPLE are our biggest asset, because without skilled and dedicated employees any company’s product quality and level of service is compromised. The vast majority of people at 2/90 have more than seven years experience with the company, and many individuals have 15 to 30 years tenure. We’re a privately-held company and employees are stock holders. Every individual participates in providing our Customers with a satisfying experience; a company in our industry doesn’t last in business for 30 years without continually practicing the fundamentals of building long-term client relationships.
OUR PRODUCTS are top quality and we stand behind our work. Period. We can provide every sign on the interior and exterior of a building to empower your facility visitors and occupants with a pleasurable experience navigating the surroundings. Our interior sign systems include 2/90 Modular, Arc Sign curved profile, GloSign emergency egress identifiers, and Plaques Plus non-changeable cost alternatives. And, we fabricate custom signs too. Our exterior signs run the gamut of illuminated and non-illuminated, main identification, post-and-panel, wall-mount and dimensional letters. Need electronic directories? Our core product business over the years and still today, is 2/90 Modular. This product line has been in existence since the beginning of our time and continues on strong. It’s classic, top quality and it performs.
